Detailed Description
The valve guide supports and guides the valve that reciprocates within it, ensuring the valve properly fits with the valve seat and also serves a heat conduction function. The lower part of the valve guide extends into the intake and exhaust passages. To prevent airflow resistance, the outer circumference of the extending end is made conical. A clearance of 0.05 to 0.12 mm is left between the valve guide and the valve stem, allowing the valve stem to move freely within the guide.
